Unplug the set and take the back off,by removing the phillips screws.Follow the mains lead to the main board. Check the small glass fuse,if the fuse is intact then I suggest you stop your investigation. To carry on you will need testing equipment,to check the primary, and secondary circuits, and the LOP TX. Don't be tempted to remove any leads/connectors,especially the red flyback lead at top centre of the crt. Repairing the set will not be cost effective. If you are handy with a soldering iron and are familiar with metering electronic components, then a service manual is easily obtained from the internet. Although the set appears to be dead, the crt may still be charged, and so will the large capacitors on the board,so be careful.
