ERROR 2 ON Minivatotr 1000 Stairlift?

Does anyone know what the No 2 error code is on the minivator 1000. Not sure what led to my parents chair breaking, but having just replaced the batteries it now shows a blinking 2 ?

hi there......being a ex stannah,not sure but error 2 on the minivator 1000 use to mean stairlift not on charge point or the spur 240v supply to charger is switched off which will cause main batteries to faulter.........hope this will help.........ian.....portsmouth/uk

take the chair up to the charging point,once the chair is on the charging contacts,ok should appear on the handset.Allow the battery to recharge.
