After 3 months, they did not block your account, it's been automaticaly deleted.
45 days without logging in = Unactive account = Can't receive new messages. Connect to reactivate. All saved messages are intact and all contacts remains.
Another 45 days (90 days total) without logging in = Suppressed account. All saved messages and contacts purged from the server.
You only need to create a new account. Nothing prevent you from using the exact same name / address unless someone else took it.
You can chose another webmail provider, like GMail and several less known ones.
