Zanussi WDT 1085 won't wash!?

Following a random blockage on this Zanussi WDT1085 washer-dryer, none of the wash cycles will work, no water, nothing.

The spin cycles and the dryer functions seem ok. No evidence of any major defects within. Any help would be appreciated.

If the drainage pump is unplugged the machine will not take in water, therefore not start a wash cycle. But it will spin, and will dry.
Found this out when I removed a blockage and forgot to plug pump back in. Hope this helps

I think it was in the drainage pipe...after I removed it from the external drain, I could empty it into a bucket.
