Bathroom Light Help!?

Hi, my first time asking for help and i would really appreciate any answers you can give me!

Basically - there were four spotlights in the bathroom. I have taken these out and removed all the boxes and gear that was there and im left with the 3 basic cables from the original loop-in system - cable from the switch, supply cable from previous light and supply cable to next light.
The new light i want to install only has 3 terminals - L, N and E. The instructions say if it is to be connected to a ring circuit a 3 amp FCU should be used. Not sure how to go about this.
Hope that makes sense...would love some help on this one!

Many thanks

Thanks for your help! much appreciate the answers.

So i can forget the FCU. But is it ok to use a 4 terminal junction box so just the one cable going down to the light? And one new question....there was an earth cable running from a pipe in the airing cupboard that was attached to the main box for the spotlights. I assumed this didnt need to be connected anymore as im taking it back to just the one light in the circuit. Should i connect this aswell or remove?

really appreciate the help

you dont need the fused connection unit as you are protected by your circuit breaker in cvonsumer unit

easy all you do is connect the loop in loop out lives and one end of the switch wire together, the other end of the switch wire goes to the live terminal of the light, the neutral of your light goes to the neutral of the supply ,therer you have it,easy :-)oh the earthg goes to the earth terminal of your light
