350 Worcester boiler heating but no hot water?

My 350 is from 1998 the central heating works but I can't get hot water.A plumber came out and said it was too old to fix.Does anyone think it could be fixed.

I had a reverse problem with a Potterton Boiler had hot water but no Central Heating. Problem was the motor in the Danfos 3way motorised valve. Replaced the top of the valve cost £50 have now got heating.
