I'm attempting to fix my 10 yr old jvc vhs-c camcorder because the cost to bring to a repair shop is not worth it when I can buy an HD cam for comparable price. Though I purchased this for around 400 bux, it's worth maybe 5 by now. Need it to back up vacation footage to DVD, is their any way a home DIYer can fix this, it eats every tape I throw at it?
