Samsung PL50 screen is white?

The screen on my Samsung PL50 is white when switched on with no picture of what it's pointing at. Occassionally, it seems to correct itself, although not for very long. Does anyone know of a repair or test to correct this? Has anyone else suffered the same?

Can you bring up the main menu ?

is it a series 4 model,because this series had y sustain board issues,

basically loose/dirty connectors on the board.
