WD 1085?

My WD 1085 washer dryer normally utterly reliable has developed a fault. Washer fills then within a couple of minutes the fusebox goes. Yet when I turn it to spin, and pop back the fuse box it spins perfectly. Is this a plumber or an electrical fault. Any help please before I call assistance.
I know it is very old but has never given trouble before.
