hi guys, wonder anyone would have a solution:
bosch WFB 1605, after a power failure the front door will not open, spined drained washed many times. does this machine have manual override (string)to open the door?

No manual override on this model, seems like your door interlock is stuck, try unplugging machine, wait 2 mins then push door further shut at same time give front casing near the doorswitch a couple of bangs it can sometimes release the lock but you will probably have to replace the lock. If that doesnt work remove lid and reach down inside machine and push the door hook to the appopriate side to release.Cheers

give it a little gentle persuasion with the heel of your fist, just a few thumps around the lock area it may release, otherwise you will have to remove the lid and from the inside of the panel push on the door latch tongue to your left with a screwdriver, you will prob need a new door interlock switch. make sure its unplugged
