fisher paykel won't drain, not the pump or diverter valve?

Ok after countless house of troubleshooting, I have a problem. My washer still won't drain. I took the pump apart and it is clear and spins freely. The diverter valve was replaced today as well as I had hoped that this was the problem. I removed the orange leads from the motor controller and the pump went right into discharging down the drain no problem. During the wash, the machine seems to get stuck in a fault where the pump only recirculates the water back into the basin. I'm suspecting the motor controller assembly but I am holding back on purchase in a desperate hope that it isn't the expensive part. Any suggestions?

Motor controller was the culprit. All is functioning normally now.

Seems fairly obvious. If you disconnect the orange leads which go to the divertor and it drains normally. Then when you put leads back on the divertor moves over to the recirculating side & it does not drain out. That should tell you that power is being supplied to operate the divertor even when it shouldn't be on, which can only mean one thing. Motor controller is faulty.
