I have a lot of bookmarks and want to catagorize them?

I need to find out the best way to group my bookmarks (about a hundred) into about 12 catagories. HOw do I best do this? In files? In tags? In 'big' bookmarks? Please give me very specific instructions--I'm a new computer user.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox (you don't say) it's really easy.

Go to Bookmarks, Manage Bookmarks and then start creating folders. (Call them what you like.) Then you can cut and paste your bookmarks into the folders.
