How do I repair the heating element in the Rowenta clothes steamer? It ove?

How do I repair the heating element in the Rowenta Ultrasteamer? I dropped the steamer and the handle got very hot to the touch. Have only used this five or six times. Appreciate some help on getting it repaired.
