I have a Miele Premier Dishwasher. When I close the door, it won't start?

It did this last year and somehow I managed to get it going again. But last night when I opened the door after it was amidst cycle, it just wouldn't start again. I've had a look at it and the door catchh is doing what it's meant to. But I notice it goes to this little brown enclosed box with a button, and I'm suspecting that is what's wrong. It has two wires coming out of it that connects the timer cycle. Is it hard to find parts? and replace? It has a number 4774504

The brown box with button is the door switch it is prone to failing usually you can see slight melting around the terminal tags. IF you feel competent you can join the 2 wires together and insulate to test if machine works, if so switch needs to be replaced. Obviously only work on machine when it is UNPLUGGED, or you wont live to tell us how you got on! Part is still available. Cheers
