From the heating system there is no hot water and the radiators are not heating up either. From the boiler the fan is working but the pilot-light is not coming on. Have checked the air pressure/air pressure switch and every thing looks okay.

Boiler fires up . You get a flame acrosss the burner . but after a while just pilot alight. fan still working and pump

sequence is : power on , fan, air pressure switch , ignition and Gas valve, if the fan is running and there is no sparking sound then most lickley its the air pressure switch, if you can hear the spark then its the gas valve, either way its an old boiler with safety issues get an engineer in.
