goodmans lcd turns on , then turns off?

my 19" lcd tv turns on fine ,but after about a minute, it turns itself off. can anyone help me with suggestions of how to fix it please? i am on a low income , so cannot afford any other way.

After watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0cG3lzjuw8 i tried disconnecting the side panel buttons and it seems to have done the trick
