Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has replaced a hotpoint belt then to find the machine will not work. I have looked at the filter and that is fine. It did bang very hard against the sides a few times so not sure if unbalanced.
Any help would be fab as am at loss to find any thing wrong(so isy dad!)

just wondering why you replaced the belt in the first place ? check the brushes in the motor

Hello, thanks for reply, looked for loose wires all look fine. It will turn on and start a cycle, fill then drain straight away. The display comes on as normal when you start the cycle, then it just comes up with on and stops as if the cycle has ended

You may have knocked something loose, open it up again and check loose wires etc that were not loose before
