Meile W460 has water left in drum!?

I have a Meile W460 just out of the 10 year guarentee. For some reason the washing is no longer as dry as it used to be & a small amount of water is left in the drum. The machine seems to be spinning but I have replaced the carbon brushes in case they were too worn, no obvious difference though. No warning lights are coming on. I have checked the filter & it is clean. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Good advice thanks.
I found an O ring in the sump hose.
I checked & flushed the other hoses but there are a couple of rectangular plastic boxes about 8" long just inside the machine. I have no idea what these are but the water passes through them before it reaches the hose on the outside of the machine!

As far as I can tell the pump is performing OK but I guess this can only be checked by the noise it makes

I will see if the problem is solved by removing the O ring & let you know.

check the sump hose, the one from base of drum to pump for obstruction or a small coin or button may have made its way into emptying hose, if you have already fitted brushes check the pump on its own that its not locking up when pumping for a while .
