boiler timer central pin broken?

The central pin that holds the boiler timer together has broken, is there a way of replacing the pin without having to buy a new mechanical timer?

being that the central pin in a mechanical boiler is the same in all timers that have a central pin, a make is not required, i doubt you'd be able to help in any instance, useless like your answer.
