The red light on my freezer will not go out even when i put it on fast freeze, i need a manual as i have lost mine. i tried the internet but could not download.

THAT is very strange that you could not download, Just tried it no problem. You did not give a make, a quick search showed it to be Hotpoint, then adding manual after the model number gave a long list, including the manufactures site.
YOU need to brush up on your search techniques, OR is it you could not be bothered.
