Central Heating works but no hot water? Worcester 28i RSF?

Hi I hope someone can help.

I have a Worcester 28i RSF Combi boiler that i have a problem with.

A few weeks ago i had a hot water leak from what looks like a flow switch at the front of the boiler (black in-line with arrow, 2 nuts, cable from the side) this was sorted by just tightening the top nut.

Around the same time the hot water temperature started to drop. It now does not heat the hot water at all, as if it doesnt call for the boiler to heat as i turn the tap on.

Central heating works fine, if the heating is on, i can sometimes get warm water in the tap.

Any ideas or similar experiences?

hi i have the same issue with my boiler, the pressure of the hot water has decreased which is feeds straight fromt he boiler and the water comes out warm for a bit then gets cold.....but when the central heating is on then it comes out pipeing hot......ive been told it could be the motorised valve, is this correct??

Thanks, ive just gone and got one, are they easy enough to fit, im assuming i wont need to drain any water from the system, just make sure the mains are off?

i think its time u changed the flow switch as it seems thats the fault. its the only part that senses water flow when opening the tap to turn the boiler on. if the boiler fires up after turning on the tap but water is luke warm then that would be a different problem but because its not firing up at all then its the flow switch
