my photo folders?

I can see all photos in all of the sub folders as I open either double clicking or through properties where I have tried to add a photo to each of the sub folders face in turn.

Using properties and customize an all the photos can be seen I don’t need to click on Thumbnails.

I can get a photo on the face of the main folder France which contains many sub folders of towns visited in France.

I cannot get a photo to appear on any sub folder within the France folder.

I can however get a photo on each sub - sub folder I create within the sub folders (Done as a test) .
So why can't I get a photo to show on the face of the sub folder?
Many thanks.

Windows XP my pictures.

When you say you can't see the photo, does it mean that you only syy something like "photo123.jpg" while you want to see the miniature of the photo, or you don't even see the name of the photo?

In the first case:
Open the parrent folder.
Right click and sellect "Properties..."
On the last tab, you can sellect the display mode. Make sure it's set to "Images".
You should have a check box just under it that say "Also apply to sub-folders".
Make sure that it's checked. If checked, uncheck and re-check it.
Click "Apply". You may need to wayt a little for the changes to get propagated to every sub-folders.

Now, every sub-folders under the current one should be displayed the same way.
