How to open a Kodak Hero 3.1 All in one Printer?

Having removed the three accessible screws from the case of the above model, I can se no way to remove the scanner assembly in order to reach the two deeply recessed screws in the rear, which need to be removed in order to gain access to the printer mechanism. Can anyone tell me how to go about this, please?

Remove the clip-on cable cover at the rear right hand side that's visible with the scan unit lifted.

Disconnect the two ribbon cables to the scanner.

With the scanner unit OPEN in the "propped" position, lift up firmly beside the hinges, one side at a time. The hinges are "clip on" but will only unclip safely in the open position.

Hi. Have you found a way to do it? I am struggling with the same thing!
