Wattage of FGS storad storage heaters?

My storage heater measures 101.6cm by 61 cms. Can anyone tell me wattage going through this size of heater.

You keep asking this question...

Rudimentary research shows it will either be 2.55kW (model SH918) or 3.4kW (model SH924).

Ideally this information should be on the Rating Plate but presumably the plate has fallen off and got itself lost.

A "savvy" electrician should be able measure the current being drawn and from that work out the approximate Wattage.

A 3.4kW device takes close to 15A of current on a 230V supply so if you've been operating it on a 13A fuse for 19 years and have not have had to continually replace the fuse then it's a good guess that you have the SH918 2.55kW model.

But I'm only guessing.
