How can I fix my TomTom XL GPS?

get on to tom tom it could be building or other local interferance causing it. Mines 5yr old Garmin never had trouble with it except charge doesn't last as long off car.

it could be the unit fault not sending out satetlite search signal or the satelites are on strike and working on slow time.
Also this should be in Navigation catagory further down forum list not here.
