it may well be the bearings on the washer or even the bearings on the motor itself. disconnect the mains supply by removing the plug from the wall, take the back off the machine, take off the belt and see if the drum will turn, also see if the motor spindle turns. There will be a reason why your belt came off in the first place.if the drum will not turn then it is more than likely bearings,the same with the motor. If both of these turn check the inside of the belt itself and see if it is crackrd or if the vees are broken
