I have recently been given a Jones 350 sewing machine and the needle is not picking up the bottom thread. Also when I tried the peddle the sewing machine was making sounds like the needle was jerky or being forced? Anyone know how to fix either of these problems? :/

Sounds like the machine needs retiming and the raceway cleaning out, I can send you instructions but you will have to read my email address as you say it and not as you see it because this site does not let email addresses be shown.
