my tv comes on clear and after a few minutes on it will just go black and stay that way. it starting doing so for just a second then the time got longer .

Your TV has a warm-up fault. When cold the electronics work properly but as things begin to get warmer the fault develops.

Engineers sometimes use a can of freezer spray to cool component parts to identify first the area and then the specific component that's failing.
