The agitator goes in one direction. Is the motor meant to go back & forth or does the gears make the agitator go back & forth? Spins fine. What are the things i can check?
The control board makes it go backward and forward by reversing the motor. You will probably find a burnt or cracked solder joint on the main control board. Resolder it.
