Softener going into machine before rinses?

Zannussi Aquacycle . Put softener in at beginning of wash and it is going into the washing before the rinse.

don't fill the conditioner compartment up to the MAX marker.just cover the bottom that is enough.it should then take it at the correct time.overfilling to MAX causes issues
