plastic pipes?

I have a 8year old ferroli combo boiler it has copper pipes and one plastic pipe on the right side coming out of the bottom down into the floor do I need to change the plastic one to copper or is it safe the boiler works fine we have had no problems.

the plastic pipe is probably for a discharge valve or a condensate discharge and has to be plastic because condensate is acidic and would rot copper
