My Hotpoint DWF40 has stopped working and the wash and dry lights are flashing. Have tried many different suggestions. Tried switching the programmes on with the door open to make the machine think it is on cycle but everything ends up crashing. Tilting it backwards puts only the rinse light on but still cuts out. Don' want to start buying inline heaters etc. Any advice about this fault and the most likely part to buy. Thankyou.
