Thomson DT16300 Digital TV Recorder loss of program guide?

Got no info available or synopsis on programme guide. Tried switching on and off and also, as in manual, leaving all on overnight.
Had the unit for about 3years and never had any problems. Any help will be gratefully received.

Had same problem since wednesday then yesterday I changed from 14 day guide to 8 day and now works perfectly. Hope this helps.

Brilliant, I switched to the 8 day programme guide and everything seems OK now. Just waiting for the guide to be populated in full.

You are the 22nd person to ask that DTT receiver question on howtomendit this month.

Top Up TV used to broadcast a 14 day programme guide, but permanently ceased broadcasting on 1st November 2013.

You need to change to the freeview 8 day guide.
Menu >> Set-up >> Change your box settings >> TV Guide Type
Use the < > keys to switch to the 8 day freeview guide.

Immediately after changing the setting to the 8 day epg a Top Up TV recorder owner should be patient. It can take a few hours before all the epg is populated without any gaps.

If you still have a card installed then one suggestion elsewhere is to also remove the card.

Good luck.

BTW It's not a "program" guide - in UK English it's a 'programme' guide. In UK English 'program' is the code computers use.
