I have a pull-chain table lamp that I wanted to rewire with a longer cord. I took the socket apart and pieces just flew out. I can not figure out how to make the chain recoil when I pull it for the socket to be turned on/off. Is there some helpful advice u can give me besides throwing it in the trash can?
