vokera excell 80sp: re-ignited pilot light will not stay on?

Our 'vokera excell 80sp boiler' was turned off, because the pressure gauge hit 3.
It hit 3 because too much water was let into the system, when trying to run hot water at a constant.
The problem now is that the pilot light will not stay lit after the 'gas control knob' is released?
Is there a safety release button..? or such like as the pressure gauge shows its dropped back to normal level?

Sounds like you need to replace the thermocouple, it looks like a piece of thin copper pipe and is in the flame of the pilot light. Sometimes, removing it and cleaning the connection (where it fixes into the control box) with a pencil eraser will sort it. Make sure it is in the flame when you refit it. It is a safety device, designed to cut the gas if the flame goes out.
