My machine is running through the programme but is not spinning, makes correct noises but nothing happens...drum does turn when not in spin mode. Reading help topics looks like it is brushes but where are they and how do I replace?? Many thanks the wife thinks I can do this so help desperately needed!!

If you can hear the motor turning but the drum isnt spinning then the belt has snapped/ come off or is loose. a loose belt will slip more in spin mode than it will on normal wash. Tighten or replace.

have had bad solder on a rely(black little box) on the motor card.
then it wont spin.

tim if the drum turns when washing its not the brushes its the circuit board but if no drum drive at all its usually the brushes which are fastened to the back of the motor
