Why am I getting a red x on most of my web pages instead of a picture, also getting it on emails as well?

Try this... Open internet explorer. Go to tools then internet options. Click on the advanced tab and scroll down to multimedia... make sure that there is a tick next to 'show pictures'. That should fix Internet explorer. Outlook will be something to do with your security settings.
