3rd input: I have been told that the fault probably is with the ballister - voltage control/protector device for the lamp- and to replace the board concerned.

The board carries the i/d of Vo1 3 02CBA. The balllister component (FS1) has 800 404 0 marked on it...
Any one out there to help?
