This is my forth DMR-ES15 machine and I can't remember how this occured.Any way I don't have any pass word or such. I moved the electronic board to one of my other units and it still shows lock,so the problem is somewhere in the board. I don't want to trash the recorder since I am an 81 year old cheapskate. How can I save the unit?

On the remote, press Return and Enter at the same time and hold until "Lock" disappears. turn off and start again.
