My indesit idl 530 not working correctly?

Hi I have an indesit idl530 dishwater that seems to have two varied faults.
First fault is when you turn it on and set it going it drains as norm then starts the fill cycle but then just stops, the heating element starts to get hot but isn't actually covered with water. The unit fails to do anything else.

Then sometimes second fault is it runs same cycle then all of a sudden first and third led starts ho flash and unit begins to drain again.

I hAve checked base float switch and that seems fine I.e the switch it's self is actually not working like a micros witch should work but seen as it's normally open and only looks for the unit flooding I presume this doesn't come into play.
I have removed the pipe off the pressure switch and blown back into sump , there doesn't seem to be a blockage. Is there a way to test pressure switch itself? Any ideas would be great fully appreciated.
