Hi paul, I have the same problem. The brass plunger was fixed, now you can move and screw it. So the lift stops at the plastic triangle 20 cm before charge-end-point. What is the function of these white plastic triangles. I removes them and now the lift is working. The brass plunger presses a switch which stops the lift.
