I have a standard Alba TV with on/off button, programme and volume buttons. The child lock got put to on by mistake the other day and then the TV got switched off. Now it turns on but stays on standby. I do not have a remote control for the TV - would it be worth buying a general one and trying to get the lock off that way ?

you do need the oringinal remote or a generic one and then phone alba and they should advise you
