Shortcut to start the task manager: Hold Ctrl+Shift+Esc and release them. Presto, the task manager is open.

Google Chrome is good, but not the best. Try Firefox. You'll probably love it.

If you don't need to use hybernation, it's best to just disable it.

It's always a good idea to uninstall any application that you no longer need or use.

Periodicaly run Ccleaner. Monthly for a light user, up to weekly. It get rid of tons of junk, like obsolete temporary files. It can also fix most registry errors. It also make you anti-virus scan much faster as there are less files to scan.

If you have a conventional hard drive, you need to defragment it regularly. About once a week is a reasonable start point.
Try Defraggler from the makers of Ccleaner. It does a much better job than the default offering.

Or it could likely be that it is going into hibernation mode after a while. go into power settings and turn hibernation off. Some systems just don't like it.

You probably need to clean up your act mate!

Make friends with Task Manager - right click in the Task Bar at the bottom of the screen - look at the process tab - see if any particular process is eating resources (machine cycles%).
Be suspicious of anything with a high figure.

Disable all programmes scheduled to begin at start time - startup tab in Task Manager.

Get a free copy of Malware Bytes - and run it.

Uninstall any applications that look suspicious and those you never use.

Use Google Chrome as your main browser

Consider adding the (free) extension Disconnect to Chrome - it stops being snooped on

Try to spend less time in the sun.
