can a single pump be used on hot supply?

Hi my name is warren I am an electrician I occassionally have to do bits of plumbing,
A job im on has 2 triton single impeler pumps feeding 1.5 bar cold water to 2 electric showers, both over a bath, one set up in each bathroom
I need to do a bit of pipework as I am going to do away with the 2 electric showers and install a mixer tap on each bath and supply pumped hot and cold, what im wondering is can I re-use one of the triton pumps to feed the hot side as the pump will have been feeding cold to one of the showers for 2 years although its still good!

any thoughts would be welcome

cheers

Yes it should be fine. Normally on the pump it would tell you the max temp of the water to pass through, but these pumps are made for hot or cold so cant see it really being any problem. I am plumber and electrician
