DMTECH LM17DB can't get rid of subtitles?

My Mum accidentally turned on subtitles when moving her TV and now we can't switch them off. There's no option for 'no subtitles' under settings just a host of different languages. Any ideas please?

On my Panasonic TV the remote control has a button marked STTL

My guess is that your Mum's TV's remote control has a similar button...
