Bosch Exxcel WVD245S3GB bearing change- sealed tub?

Hi, The bearing on my bosch exxcel wvd245s3gb need to be changed. It grinds when turned and the drum moves by hand.

The outer panels are one complete panel, wrapped around the unit. On taking the top off I saw the tub is a complete sealed metal unit. Not plastic or able to be split. There is a back access panel where you can get to the spider and belt.

Any suggestions / experience on how to tackle this?

Thanks

Are you sure the bearings are causing the noise? Usually if the bearings are worn they give a low pitch rumble when turned. Make sure its not something trapped between the drums. To change the bearings you have to remove the pulley on the rear, then remove the spider bolted onto the back of the drum,(these bolts will be loctited on and difficult to remove), then replace the bearings and seal in the spider. You probably won't be able to remove the spider unless you take the whole drum assembly out of the white cabinet. Makes it quite a difficult job.
