delta coffee machine not working,although has power?

It works for about 5 seconds and then the liquid stops coming through. I descaled it last week, but don't have the instructions so may not have done it sufficiently. Any ideas?

When I was playing around with our coffee machine(s) if I packed the ground coffee too tightly the flow was compromised.

Try looser packed ground coffee.

Try no coffee at all.
