F61 problem on SC-PT750, probably 2007 vintage. Fan works fine. I removed it, cleaned it, still nadda.
Fan comes on all right but so does F61. When F61 disappears, fan goes off; it all takes about 5 seconds.
Unless somebody gives me a solution, I am in Vancouver BC Canada and wondering if there is a repair person here...
Does this unit play CDs without an other gadget like amplifier? I hooked up the speakers as per operating instructions.

F61 = Check speaker connections. If this doesn't help contact dealer.

You could also, on the basis of nothing to loose, open up th eunit and check for bulging capacitoirs and replace.
