On refill - water failed to heat although lights are on. Any Ideas

Yes Paul - my idea is that the heating element is defective - open circuit - it's just a guess mind you but I would be prepared to bet money on it being the element.

I doubt you will be able to repair it - but you never know - if it were mine I would not even begin to try.
