hi my wife called a guy in to install new brushes but machine just clicks on program upon looking under the machine to clean filters ect I have noticed a grey wire with connector on end hanging from motor where does this connect to anyone please its a hotpoint aquarius wmf740 model thanks
Why not just phone the guy you paid to do the work and ask him to come back & do the job properly.

There will be a connector waiting for a wire - the manufacturers will not have put in an extra connector in the machine or an unnecessary wire on the motor. The connection point will be within the length range of the wire.
